During the time spent in the New England area over the holidays, there was an opportunity window to move closer to coast and try to chase some bass. Some rivers we fished were blown out from all the crazy weather NSW been getting, so fishing had to be halted for couple of days and exchanged for some waterfall exploring instead. But after the weather settled down a bit and we were able to find some fishable water we were on. Even during the rain bass were smashing surface poppers like Oreos. Couple of my favourite bass patterns included in the images below as well.
