Finally after planning to fish New England rivers for cod for so long I did it over the Xmas break this year. This has been on my to do list forever, but sort of always hesitated due to it being totally unexplored area to me. Travel plans and holiday activities came together nicely and I was able to fit in couple of days exploring a few rivers up that way. No huge fish, but learnt a couple of things specific to catching cod on fly and next trip up I’m sure it’ll be even better.
