Bass fishing was pretty good on the South Coast this year, with bass not hesitating to smash surface flies even on rainy days. Managed to find one my favorite sports to camp within a reasonable driving distance from Sydney, with an easy access to launch a kayak and with no other campers in sight. No matter how tough bass fishing can get sometimes they’re still one of my favorite species to catch on fly.
