End of season

NSW river trout season is closed now since last weekend and this is my recap of the trips I did in the last couple of months. Definitely not the numbers it used to be, but certainly there are still some good specimens to be found if you put the miles in and think outside the box. I focused on those heavy rain days and used bright bead woolly buggers tied with sparkly @upavon_flyfishing chenille stripped through slower pools with great success. Catching this chunky bow in the snow was pretty special all hail the mighty woolly bugger.
