Couple weeks ago we decide to have a summertime overnight trip into the Blue Mountains to explore some little creeks and see how they doing mid summer, and what condition they gonna be for the upcoming grasshopper season. Firstly our way took us into a little town of Taralga for some breakfast and fresh coffee and then onto a 4WD tracking where we descended deep into the Blue Mountains wilderness. We tried a few creeks on that weekend and found fish in every single of them. The usual flies like Claret PMX stimie or Pheasant Tail nymph suspended underneath doing the job. A gallery of photos from that weekend is below.
