Had couple of good sessions in the Snowy Mountains just before general trout waters closed for the trout spawning. Tied a few new fly patterns that I wanted to try out this year and they seemed to be doing the trick just well. Most of the fish were caught on the those nymphs and maybe only one or two on the glo-bug. The days I fished the Snowy’s region was getting quite a bit of rain so that probably helped for fresh fish to move into the rivers and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Here’s a summary of that.
