Over a month ago I went back to my home country to meet up with my family, old friends and of course do a little bit of fishing. For our first trip we chose one my favourite rivers on this planet – the Ula river, located in the south part of the country in a region called Dzukija. Weather was still pretty hot for this time of the year, so we left dry flies behind an employed our euro nymphing rigs. It took us some time to find a more promising stretch of the river, but after we found it – we were on. In the end we ended up spending couple of nights camping, fishing, drinking and cooking simple yet delicious meals. And of course remembering good old times by the campfire but also creating some new ones that will definitely last a lifetime. A few pictures below, that were captured on that trip.
