This year I dodged a bullet and purchased myself a packraft so I could potentially use it to chase some bass. Packraft sounded to me like a more convenient option than owing a proper hard top kayak. It doesn’t take up pretty much any space in the garage when stored stuffed in a bag, also weighs very little so it can be taken on long hikes, or to places where launching a kayak is impossible due to overgrown or steep banks. So as the summer kicked in I started going to some places and exploring some new water. Mostly just around Sydney at the moment, but managed to get onto some fish which you can see from the images below. Of course, no monsters as of yet but let see what the rest of the summer will bring.
